An abstract commentary on our technological society, “Our Technology Takeover” is a an organically flowing collage of images that capture our high-tech obsessions. “Technology and particularly, social media, have created a whole new language…sometimes I find it a little overwhelming, hence the chaotic feel to this image. But there’s no denying the impact tech has had on our popular culture and I felt it needed to be addressed. We are all plugged in to one gigantic brain and the future looks a bit frightening.”

Biography

Charles Fazzino, graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City is one of the most popular and highly-collected pop artists of all time. During his more-than-thirty years as a pop artist, he has inserted his unique, detailed, vibrant, and three-dimensional style of artwork into the very fabric of popular culture. Fazzino’s artworks are exhibited in hundreds of museums and galleries in more than twenty different countries.
